Beginning December 1, we invite our local businesses to deck their storefronts with festive cheer and help make Hampton Bays a winter wonderland.
The best decorated business will receive a gift card to a Hampton Bays Chamber of Commerce establishment of their choice.
Winner Revealed Sunday December 6th at the Hampton Bays Tree Lighting.
Sponsor-A-Tree: Christmas Tree Decorating Rules
Decoration time: 11/25/26 – 12/4/26 | Event: 12/4/26, 4:30pm – 6:30pm
Trees will be up for viewing: 12/4/26 – 12/30/26
- The sponsoring organization is responsible for installing, maintaining, and timely removing all decorations of your designated tree by Jan 4th, 2027.
- No food, edible decorations, or materials that may attract or harm wildlife.
- Secure decorations with zip ties or other approved, non-damaging methods.
- No glass, breakable, sharp, or hazardous items.
- Decorations must be weather-resistant and able to withstand wind, rain, snow, and ice. No paper or similar materials.
- Only outdoor-rated, solar-powered or battery lights are permitted. No open flames, candles, or electrical cords.
- Decorations must not obstruct sidewalks, walkways, or pedestrian access. Decorations are controlled to the tree ONLY. No signs in the ground surrounding the tree.
- No offensive, obscene, suggestive, or political decorations.
